Guest Joence
I've been listening to Skream a lot over the last few days, and decided to give Dubstep a go myself. It's called Dublet and can be found at www.myspace.com/joeyewen . It was all made today in just four hours! Guest Promo
I'm liking those appegiated synths ... very electro. I think the verb on this seemed innitially a bit heavy but now I've heard it twice its making more sense. Once it gets to 2mins and beyond the harmonies came together quite nicely and felt quite deep. I would have personally introduced a dry half step beat (no verb and a solid meaty kick/snare) by this point for the dance heads if ya get me. Keep rollin' out the steppas 'cause this is by no means bad for your first effort. :shade: Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/30127-first-attempt-at-dubstep/#findComment-639012 Share on other sites

Guest chunky
damn man youre 16 and doing this, wtf. the arrangement and everything is first class. the beat was a bit like the prodigy but without the swing or smoothness. then... a prodigy remix comes on ahha. good vibe. on phat cos the beats are robotic and quantised it messes up the vibe a bit compared to old hardcore choons imo. s.o.s is perfect production imo. basically u on an old akai sampler with an atari and old synths would ROCK the fucking house with some spicey 90's rhytms!!!
