Guest cuubjan
Alright, this may seem like an odd request but here it goes: I am using the LFO on the subtractor synth in reason to send a gate signal to a sampler, and I can easily use it by setting the LFO to sync and selecting the 1/8 note option. But here is the problem. I need to make it stay in sync with the tempo w/o using the sync feature. The issue is that the value of the rate when not in the sync option is from 0-127, MIDI values for controlling i presume, but i cant find the correct MIDI value, if it is even possible, that would sync with the tempo (180 bpm) on 1/8 note lengths. If anyone could help me with finding the value, it would be most appreciated. I guess i just want to be able to use the combinator to assign a button to the LFO knob to always return to that value. With the knob out of sync you can achive a much higher rate than synced. I was more out of convenience pretty much, haha, but i guess this method isnt very convenient either. Guest laszares
well, how did you do it? Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/30146-lfo-rate-values/#findComment-676418 Share on other sites
Guest Idrn
that's a pretty weird thing to want to do. i'm not sure if 0-127 corresponds to some rate rather than just the midi values. either way, it is sunday after and i felt like some problem solving sooo... set up a highest and lowest rate on LFO routed to a plain saw. 00:00:00:050 for the highest 00:00:13:420 for the lowest so thats 13.370 / 127 = roughly 1ms as your unit of measurement all along? fuck it.
