Garbage question

For the people who own the cd 'Garbage'. Were there two releases of Garbage? I just got the non-colored cd version and at discogs there is a black colored cd version shown. I just want to know if I got a bootleg. Thanks.

Mine's black, and I got mine from a highly reputable outlet. Maybe some kind of promo?

I'd say the black one is the original "pressing" and the silver is probably a "repress"

just to add I have the black version (somewhere) which I got at the time.

there's a bit of a warp original/respress tidy up going on on discogs, I only used the the inverted commas because cds aren't really pressed as such, but it's the nearest equivalent. most warp cds are in print all the time. obviously there are exceptions to this, a couple I can think of are wild planet - blueprint and B12 - time tourist. but you get the idea.
