Uuuuuuuuuuh! This is niiiiice! Really nice! The production is tight as fuck!

I really love how that nasty bass introduces us to the theme of the track - deep badass basslines killing one's braincells, oh yeah.

I'm not really sure about the first snare that you use, though. It sounds rather midi-ish, but I suppose that's what you wanted it to sound like since you switch these drum samples out with some heavier ones later on. They are killa-killa by the way.

It's weird because I really like the pad you use at 0:44 but it is somehow too clean and soft for this track - but I guess it's a good contrast to the rest of the synths.

As I mentioned earlier the drums that set in at 1:56 are great, and I love the touch of the reverb you've added.

Overall this is probably the best track I've ever heard from you, and I've really liked some of your older works.

Man, if I wasn't so busy lately I would have asked you if I could make a remix of this track :)

This is basically exactly how I feel. Except for the remix part lol.

Really good. But yea I might experiment with different synth sounds like squee suggested. When I first listened to it, I was definitely like yea I would have used a different patch. But as it went on, I started to like it. So I dunno. But yea that bass is killer.

thanks for the quick response guys. thats an interesting point about the pad synth, had even really thought about it. i just liked the shift in mood it gave the early section, gives it a slightly weird touch.

perhaps a less clean tone might be a good idea, something looser and more organic (hate having to use that word)

As for that snare, yeh i was just too lazy to changed it to be honest :) the drums are to non existant in the early section that they more just marker points than anything to drastic rhythmically. but again i might have a crack at replacing it with an over distorted & heavy compressed hit instead.

i really cant hack doing anything more to this track for a while tho its been been work-music-work-music since saturday whilst sleeping through my lunch breaks to catch back up. enough is enough methinks.

hehe squee, thanks for the compliment. let me know when ur not so busy and we'll talk :) ive never had someone remix a track before, its a bit like letting someone abuse ur kids. if u see what i mean...

glad u enjoyed

this is some seriously hot shite... and exactly the kind of thing i was expecting when you posted that dubstep bit...

i love the reverb, but i am def a reverb junkie.

bass is sick... SICK. and the tails... especially in the mid to latter parts (3:30 has a great one) of the track... quite good.

keep it up.

Well done. You got analog equipment haven't you? Reminds of Squarepush. Nice track. Nice reverb but too much for my taste (you like reverbing don't you  ).

hehe nah nothing analogue here except a drumkit and a selection of cheap instruments. all thats just software noise.

cant help but love reverb, adds depth and masks the pokeyness of the samples.

cheers eric. im trying to stick somewhere near the dubstep bandwagon lately so i guess expect more along these lines. at least in terms of bass and bpm, the rest is impossible to tell.
