SmartMedia = Adapter + xD

Hello,

I have finally got my card and adapter for my Korg. Unfortunately, it's not going well. I stick the xD card into the xD into Smart Media converter/adapter and then I stick it into the Smart Media card slot in the ESX-1. The manual says to format the stick by going to Global and pressing Shift+16(card), but when I do that, it says

No Card

Error

I put the card into my card reader on the computer and I tested it out by putting a bunch of stuff on there and it worked. What I'm thinking the problem maybe is that the adapter isn't going in all the way (it should because it went in all the way in my pc card reader), or that the xD card is 256megs (which I dont think would be another problem because it should at least read the first 128megs of the card). If none of those are a problem, then I would have to say the Korg doesn't want to work with the adapter (hmm), or that it's busted (which I highly deny is the problem).

Is there anything I have to do before formatting? What do you think you would do?
