I have omitted lowride completely.

this album is fantastic, and by no means the worst

I couldnt cataloge any of their albums as their worst though

It's my least favorite because it has too much of that early techno sound for me. It is in no way bad, I just prefer the ae sound from '94-on. However, I would also consider it their worst album for the simple fact that according to some interview I read, it isn't really an album so much as a compilation that warp made of ae tunes they had laying around. I can't remember if it was Sean or Rob, but he said that Amer was their first album. Still, it does not make the music bad, or lessen the impact it had. It is just that, in most cases, ae albums have a very strong flow and the album seems like a concise statement. This is why, in my opinion, ep7 was kept as an ep instead of an lp. Because the songs had very little to do with one another and if felt more like just a collection of songs. (even though the tracks are very good)

I find many of the albums tracks to be pointlessly minimal, so even if I think certain songs have great ideas, I have to rate them low because it's hard for me to get through them (444 and Maetl). This is the only Ae album where I have this problem.
