Another dubstep track, probably my best track so far...

I'm sorry, but I didn't like this.

The amen break doesn't work, and the synths sounds a bit too 90-ish.

Phat sounds great though :)

if it's using an amen, it's breakstep

lol

this sounds like an airplane landing on a minefield

Yeah, sorry I wasn't feelin' this one either. The mix just doesn't sound right at all and to me is muddy central. Too many sounds/frequencies are falling over each other and I agree that the amen doesn't sound right. For starters you need to kill the reverb on the amen and some others sounds. I reckon a tighter gated amen would prolly work better with your own percussive fills. Apart from that the vibe didn't really grab me. Keep em up coming though.

Thanks for the honest and constructive feedback. As always, I'll think about what you all said next time I'm making a track.

i have to agree with the others on this one. extremely muddy. the amen and the synth are sitting in the same space. the woowoowoo sub is quite nice but the oldskooly synth bass clashes with it all over the place. the slightly choral clean tone ambient part is cool but again u cant make it out at all.

try some really strict EQing...

anything that isnt contributing to the sub, EQ as much as the sub out of it as u possibly can. that should at least clear out some of the spillage. other than that theres not much u can really do. most of the sounds are clattering around the low mid area so they just pile up on each other and compete for space.

hope thats some help.

[[if u look theres a couple of dubsteppy type tracks ive uploaded if u fancy a listen]] ;)
