Barack vs. McCain, who wins?

whaddya think? I love the good ol' US of A, but having lived in China for two years (which incidentally seems to operate pretty well without 'representative democracy' and all that jazz), I feel kind of removed from the whole process. Is Barack as full of empty rhetoric as they say? I liked McCain before he seemed to jump on the Bush war-wagon, does he have anything to recommend him? Is he at least fiscally conservative?
