looking for a rare vst

lo, im looking for a pretty hard to find vst from NI, i have the standalone version but its very limited so ive tried everywhere to find the vst version but have had no luck, if anyone has it or can hook me up a link can you pm me

NI Metaphysical Function

it's part of the electronic instruments 2 collection, which can be easily found.

They did have a standalone and VST version at one point but that was discontinued. The version mrx linked to requires the full version of Reaktor to run. MF is an amazing instrument.

i gave you the stand alone - have you lost it?

i have to other one - but it's a full version.

Woah, i didn't realise there's a VST version of it. I have both the SE (limited) version and one for Reaktor but to have it as a VST would be awesome.

You will eventually want the version you can edit in Reaktor. The resonator presets get a little tired after a while and then you can change the "chords" in it by making the resonator instrument visible or cut it out completely if it suits you. Plus change the filter and oscillator types and so on.

I don't understand the attraction of the VST version versus opening the ensemble document in the Reaktor VST plugin. All they've done is hardwired the ensemble into a non-editable version of the full Reaktor sound engine. There are no RAM or CPU benefits AFAIK.

yeah... i would go with the reaktor version.

quite apart from the fact that you can edit from the guts up.

Yah, this thing is cool. Never used it in a song but messed around with it a bunch. I shelled out for komplete last year, and got massive too and some other odds and ends. I'm gonna have to break out Metaphysical Function again. My friend made his own version of this thing that did cool granular stuff w/ the sampler, gonna have to play with that too. <3

If I had a mac i'd be using logic again but for now cubase sx is the jam. Cubase Vst 5 and below lacked a lot but sx 3 and 4 have caught up, tho i'm happy with sx 3 for the moment.
