Equipment Compilation Thread

It would be useful and thought provoking to list specific hardware, software, VSTs, production procedures, and other extraneous details - and their corresponding usage under an artist. This can include any artist/music you like (but, of course, hopefully inclusive of the featured watmm artists) - as long as you specify the music and meaningful production details.

although, for what I think you mean:

Cylob - Cylob Music System

Used on: Everything after 2004ish?

What it does: Everything from computer vox to sampling to crazy waveguide/vosim/analog modeling/karplus strong stringing, etc.

Venetian Snares use Renoise, but unfortunately I can't list anything else they use.

Just knowing who uses a tracker, for example, is helpful.

I also came across the fact that Fanu, A Forrect called MULU, and the soundtrack of Deus Ex, composed by Alexander Brandon, Dan Gardopée, Michiel van den Bos and Reeves Gabrels - all used some vocal VSTs featuring Jocelyn Montgomery.

Hey thats cool, Deus Ex is one of my favorite PC games ever. It had pretty cool music for the time too. The VersaLife track when your in their corporate building in Hong Kong was my favorite.

Well I'm sure others have used her samples, but I just realized I was hearing the same voice in all three of those artist's works.
