Quaristice + Ketamine

Having the beginnings of a K experience start off with the PLC was pretty amazing. That song is so fragile delicate but so weird and changing the whole time, i hate to say this but psychedelic drugs have given me a new appreciation of quaristice.

has it also give a new perspective into checking your pm's? :)

I can't take ketamine after what happened at New Year's. Of course I said that 5 years ago after my 17th birthday.

Only tried K once with Soapscum but had a fun time. Would be cool to do some and listen to some ae. I can't really remember how it changed my perception of music but the whole experience was bizarre.

are absolutely essential for ketamine trips imo. To get visual hallucinations on K you have to have a dark room or pitch black environment.

In 2005 I dated a raver who had me doing lots of crazy shit. Acid helped me really get inside Untilted. We'd laugh our asses off at Ipacial Section, and it helped me find the patterns in Augmatic Disport.

Alas I am sober now, trying to clean up me life. I cheat and smoke up occasionally, and that, combined with good headphones, is a great way to enjoy quaristice. The short tracks help with the short attention span too ;)

listening to incunabula on shrooms was amazing, but we left the room about 3/4 the way through bike (not very far through the album at all) to check on my friend who was having a bit of a bad time. we didn't return to that room afterwards.

it was his first time and he came up swiftly and couldn't handle it.

only done regretamin once, properly, and it was well funny. we watched match of the day hahahahaha

that being said, the same can be done with dxm (the whole darkness thing). I can remember being on 3rd plateau MANY a time, locking myself in the bathroom, putting a towel under the door to block out any excess light, then watch the environment around me change completely. Sadly, and unlike on K, i have to smoke herb to get to that point... it "unlocks" the trip for me, otherwise, dxm doesn't really do my head in. weed is essential.

That being said - Dissociative anesthetics (DXM, Ketamine, PCP) + Autechre = splendid loveliness (although i've never done PCP). Shit, Dissociative anesthetics can change an opinion about music in the period of 1 second.

haha! im glad to see another fellow dark room hallucinatory enthusiast here. Yes on DXM you pretty much get the same visuals although at least for me DXM is a lot more mentally weird gives me more of a headfuck and i can barely ineract with the outside world above 2nd plateu. I feel as though K is a lot more like a controllable video game or like a black and white lucid dream. GODDAM i wish i could smoke some PCP and listen to autechre! where the hell do we get some?

i really want to, believe me! If I wasn't in the middle of moving right now it would have been done by now! It's funny, back when I used to Dex all the damn time, 7-8 years ago, I used to trip every time I finished a new song, just to hear it "for real" as an outsider. lol...all that really did though was make me my own biggest fan lol...

Yeah, "K" is usually easier to deal with compared to DXM 3rd platau (where i can only walk in super exagerated steps, my voice sounds thick with downs syndrome tounge, and all I really want to do is be in a totally black place with some banging braindance)... 2nd platau is much more user friendly and I can function in public (wide-eyed yes...) pretty good. I (regretfully) started a 2-3 year DXM craze in NW Indiana... It's funny, because only the people I showed it to personally (ie: did it WITH me their 1st time so I could help them) ended up liking it. Pretty much everyone hates on that shit and I cannot see why. Don't get me wrong, it sounds tacky as fuck to tell people that you are high on a cough supressesent, but GODDAMN that shit is powerful. The 1st time i tried it I got an 8oz bottle of syrup, but couldn't drink more than a quarter of it. Nothing happened. The next weekend, me and my buddy shopped the lanes and found coricidin cough & cold... After my 45 min in vomit, and a bowl of green in me, I thought I had found a suitible LSD replacement. Not quite, but great indeed. I wonder how many lives I ruined with that shit... Then I moved onto the agent lemon extraction, then the Wal-tussin cough tabs which are just DXM. Ramble ramble.

Fuck i remember listening to Drukqs on DXM for the 1st time... I listened to both disks twice... came out the bathroom a changed man indeed...!

I have no idea where to get any "shermans" though... It would be interesting...

that is only the beginning my son... 900 mg is quite the healthy dose though. I think the most I ever did was about 1 g throughout the course of a night.

Not a massive dosage, but 300mg of dex + joint, laying in bed with Music Has The Right To Children was a really great experience for me.

i tried untilted + methamphetamine = global inside-out groove-detect

I went on a month long DXM binge once.

It enabled me to go to college before graduating high school, believe it or not. Anyways, while on it, I didn't gain new perspectives of music, but instead I gained new perspectives of reality and emotion which in turn helped me relate with music.

my sentiments exactly. the fact that it takes hallucinogens to be able to stop thinking and just listen and appreciate is pretty bizarre. Dont get me wrong getting wrecked and listening to tunes is fun but having it change something from Meh to this is superb music is a bit odd.
