Guest organizedconfusedproject
I was hardly listening to Bradey's beat, when i realized there is this electric-flowered sound, which could a priori characterize rdj's music from his beginings to his latest productions : Bradley's beat side A/ziggomatic : Similar stuff between boxing day and ziggomatic : discuss and post samples. Guest organizedconfusedproject
IS this not clear ? This topic is about sounds or tipycal drum patternns you can find in different tracks. Sorry for the misunderstanding Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/31702-typical-aphexish-sounds/#findComment-676050 Share on other sites
Guest Caustic
Lisbon Acid and Pitcard use the same drum patterns. W32.Aphex and TrojanKillAV are practically the same song anyway. Track 7 on AB5 uses the same clicky plastic claps as MFM track 9* AB5 Track 1 has similar squelchy "hats" as MFM track 5** CTD Lord Faltneroy Mix's opening beats sound similar to those at the end of Windowlicker. (around 5:50) *4:33 long, to avoid confusion. **5:14, i know some of you have different track arrangements. Deepex
To Cure A Weakling Child sounds an awful lot like To Cure A Weakling Child (Contour Regard) if you ask me. Dragon
For the record, here are the two MfM track arrangements: Tracks can vary by a couple of seconds, and yes, Track 06 is supposed to have 6 seconds of silence at the start. Track 1: 3:24 Track 2: 4:19 Track 3: 2:26 Track 4: 4:17 Track 5: 4:59 Track 6: 3:59 Track 7: 4:05 Track 8: 4:26 Track 9: 4:37 Track 10: 5:13 Track 11: 3:01 Track 12: 1:30 The next one does not have the Logan Rock Witch demo, yet track 08 is still labeled so even though it sounds totally different. Track 1: 3:24 Track 2: 4:19 Track 3: 2:26 Track 4: 4:17 Track 5: 4:59 Track 6: 3:59 Track 7: 4:05 Track 8: 4:37 Track 9: 5:13 Track 10: 1:30 Track 11: 3:01 Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Dragon's signature Hide all signatures faith <3 Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/31702-typical-aphexish-sounds/#findComment-676172 Share on other sites

Guest Caustic
AFX 114 is Phlange Phace stripped down. Same distorted hats on 73-Yips and Start As You Mean... Ventolin (Plain-an-Gwarry) same hats as Winner Takes All I also heard that the beats on Analog Bubblebath are a preset on some Yamaha keyboard. Dragon
Those electric sounds on 73-yips/SAYMTGO are distorted hi-hats? Cool. Anyway: Same sounds on Hedphelym and AB2, track 2 (obvious, but that track is hard to find). Same strings on Girl/Boy and the 1:30 MfM track edit: I think I just heard a sample of [mould] being used in meltphace 6. Hs not wrong, the "twan, Twan" from [MOLD] is the same style as the string in Meltphace 6 And at about 2:30 into the tune it resembles [MOLD] very easily, and theres a few Twans in there too. If ya done beleve me, have a listen ya-self Oh and before anyone asks, 4:15, the vocals onwards are NOT from [MOLD] Edited March 10, 2008 by Mandow Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/31702-typical-aphexish-sounds/#findComment-677285 Share on other sites
