he is young but his music is superior to most of the stuff on both these forums, mostly because he uses md for most of his drum sounds giving it a unique flavor no amens or 909 presets

Machinedrum is the piece of gear I don't want to sell. It's so better than thousand 909/808/303 emulations...

i totally agree, its a shame (and possibly a good thing, leaves room for more other creative artists) so many people have hardons for the tired overly played out gear like 808,909 and 303 where a machinedrum can pretty much sound like whatever you want it to and costs the same amount of money.

yea, my machinedrum allows me to pretend to know what I am doing.

i have owned most the great drum machines since mid 80s and have kept the Machinedrum and TR808

*jaw drops* no one mentioned the venetian snares track! he posted a bulletin on his myspace saying he did "a tune with Autechre", and i checked out the tracklist and there it was, Venetian Snares vs. Autechre.

30 tracks, 5 dollars, good music, it worth it.

Posted a news item about it, ordered the compilation. Good stuff.

the autechre track is awesome, so is the vsnares vs autechre track. futureimage's track is also nice. not into the other tracks too much but i need to give it another listen.
