certainly..pixies reunion tour, portishead..

apparently it's 100% coming out (i started a couple threads about this), they're touring this summer, etc ... i'd guess sometime this year

a reunion tour full of 15 year-old songs is not the same as an album of new songs, 15 years in the making.

the pixies new it was a sure thing, everyone already loved those songs.

portishead was a nice but rare example.

i'm not saying it won't be good, but i definitely think the odds are stacked against it.

well it's just an example of 2 good bands sounding good after many years, withstanding massive hype wave..i'm just saying that it's possible
