Early morning sequence

Album is coming along nicely and the spring weather is finally getting me motivated after a rather dreary and cold winter. Put this little piece together this morning for a quick sound test.

Haven't fleshed the drums out at all. Just a quick assembly of some early morning ideas. Hi Ron.

listened. I liked it but some of the synth/drum sounds weren't really my cup o tea. Keep up the good work though.

that's a good principal melody

the track could definitely benefit from more elaborate drums

pretty fun, very light and airy and spring-like, but much like a well-whipped cream it does little to sate my musical hunger

I like the melody, but the timbre and poppiness of the drums is a definite turn-off for me.

I can respect this for what it delivers, a cool little track you have there. I'm a fan of that sort of sounding melody, quite twinkly. It reminds me a little of "Please Sing My Spring Reverb" by Mum. I think there is no need to tone up the drums or make them more expressive than they already are. Nice work

an interesting listen, is very different. Great melody. percussion does take a little bit to get used to, but i do like it now. reminds me a little of the synth percussion from Life Aquatic. I like how you changed the sound of the melody about 2/3 through the song.

It reminds meof material you'd hear on a Neo Ouija, Cottage Industries compilation, and that is my musical cup of tea.

I like the track too. The backing synth is nice the way it changes as part of the melody. Would be cool if the drums had a major change like the melody, but over lap the changes so they don't happen at the same time, that way you get a nice evolving feeling. Or a sudden shift could be really nice too.
