Chosen Lords?

I don’t know about you guys, but Chosen Lords just seems really pointless to me.

I guees it’s okay if you want to be intorduced to the Analord sound without having to get all 11 analords, but idk.

Also, are the songs different at all from the orginals? Because I read they were.

i bought chosen lords for my dad because i doubted he'd have bothered to listen to the whole set.

I personally feel that only the later analords that sound more drukqs-y are worth listening to. The rest is wank.

I honestly think the majority of the Analord stuff is Richard's best. Sure, he puts out a mind-blowing track on at least every release he puts out, but on the whole those releases were consistently good, considering the girth.

I like the chosen lords stuff, just cuz I don't have may of the Analords on mp3. I did dub all my 12"s to a couple cassettes and it sounds fuckin killer on tape. No lies!

You wouldn't be able to fit all 11 Analords onto two cassette tapes.

Analord: 3:24:04

Two tapes: 3:00:00

Anyway, I personally feel that the Analord series should have been released as two Double-CD releases, with the current series being the vinyl version. The selection on Chosen Lords was terrible, being made up mostly of lesser tracks and missing out some real gems.

XMD5A is kind of epic though. It's one of the most prominent in the analord series, but definitely not my favourite.

I seriousley Don't know how you could not love Xmd5a.

It's probley one of my all time favs off of the Analord series,

But to tell you the truth, it's one of the last songs I discovered.

I use to always skip that song for some reason, once i gave it a chance,

my life changed...

People need to really give "MC-4 Acid" a chance, Its a really good listen if you have speakers or headphones that bump with good bass.

Tottaly a B-Boy breaking song.

I did the same thing with flacs. I couldn't make my own chosen lords, the only one I can cut is 2 Analogue Talks.

I actually never got around to doing the last couple, but you can come over and make sure I actually dubbed 2 full cassettes worth of analord. I didn't want to have a tape where I just listened to the beginning of the first side. sue me.

in flac? why not convert them in wave!! & burn them in cds...

flacs have the same quality as wavs, so converting them is not necessary at all

Well, but if you want to burn it on a cd, you (or your burning suite) will have to convert it to wav to make it readable for your cd player, won't you? (I'm not sure, though).

Why is there nobody talking about Reunion 2?

I don't have all the analords (none of them, actually), but Reunion 2 would have to be in my compilation, for sure.

My burning software only werks with wavs, so yes I did convert them. I didn't bother to mention that part because they are the same quality.
