titled 'open city'

all sounds from my acoustic guitar,

essentially 2 layers, manipulated

it perhaps doesn't go anywhere, but i'm ok w that. headphones might help, i'm never sure about whats too quiet or too loud. :embrassed:

I love mashed up guitar sounds. especially when they are pitched shifted this low. great stuff, would have liked a gentle old synth to some in. what came to mind was the synth soudns played in the song Lick by Boards of Canada.

This is bottom line a great unique ambient song. cheers

Nice. It should only be longer though.

Yeah reminds me a little of BOC and post rock styles. Love the vibe. I think a softish beat would have been interesting and perhaps some ghostly pads. Good vibe.

the first couple of seconds made me think of the odd nosdam dayvan cowboy remix, but this really takes on a sound of it's own. I love it!

ty ty. the nice comments had inspired me to continue with the guitar tracks. the past few days have been pretty productive, and so i have a lot of guitar recorded now(about 30 minutes worth...). enough for a cohesive minialbum type thing anyway. going to remain beatless however... i have never been very confident w my beat making. probably going to take a while just tinkering w what i've got recorded, but will put up the link here when it's done if anyone is interested

Yeah, awesome! Interesting change of focus to melodies rather than textures and atmosphere like your usual stuff! Though thats not to say this aint without its texture and atmosphere!
