Leila - Blood, Looms and Blooms

Hi everybody, first post but been lurking for a looong while.

So it seems at last, after 8 years waiting, Leila is putting a record out soon, and in the label of labels :omg: .

I don't think there's any official comfirmation from Warp but Leila says so in her Myspace and in the website of Barcelona's Sonar Festival 2008 you can read:

An electronica master class.

Of Iranian extraction but brought up in London, the name of Leila Arab has made its mark in the area of the most imaginative electronica every time she has shown her face. Seven years after her second album, she returns to the international arena with “Blood, Looms and Blooms”, released soon on Warp. It is a carefully thought out LP, which is surprising and has a unique personality, with the backing and participation of Terry Hall, legendary singer with The Specials, and Martina Topley Bird, also known for her work with Tricky. They will all be present at a one-off show on the Sónar opening night to give us an electronica master class.

I have no connections neither with Leila nor with Warp, or Sonar festival, not that I wouldn't like to... and, yes, I am a huge fan so when I read about the news I decided I should share it with you folks. I apologize if it sounded like an ad, it honestly wasn't intended to be so.

I think Leila needs to think about installing deadlocks and get an unlisted number :laughing:

I can't wait to hear what this sounds like.. Her last album was one of the most unique sounding things to come out of an electronic music label back in the day.
