Neon Neon - Stainless Style

Apparently this album is an ode to John DeLorean (The obligatory pitchfork wank can be read here).

Well done 80s nostalgia - great party record!

some of it reminds me of Men At Work. lol

I quite like it. A nice pop album, haven't really heard a lot like this in a while. Its radio friendly, yes? A lot of the tracks wouldnt be out of place on daytime Radio1. The track "Belfast" is about the DeLorean factory which operated in the early 80's.

I think the track "I Lust You" is the best one. I think the track "Sweat Shop" is utter shite. And theres a track called "Michael Douglas" who apparently owned a DeLorean after winning an Oscar for producing "One Flew Over The Cukoos Nest". Back then, a DeLorean was a symbol of success.

all the tracks with gruff are great. all the tracks without him, much wackness

god i hate this album. maybe i should try to let my ears have another attempt. doubt it'll change anything.
