Guest obstreperousartist
Alright, I've been practically all over the world trying to find an answer to my quandary (including the electronic music cave of wonders in Mogadishu) but I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. The closest thing to what I want is the Roland SP-404, but it's not exact. Here's what I'm after. I want a sampler that has the ability to have an expandable memory (like the sp-404), but what's more is that I would like it to have the ability to have A SINGLE drum pad attached to it to do all the triggering. Also, it'd be great if the patches could be switched with a dual, up/down footswitch. I don't give a shit about any preset sounds, filters, etc. cause I can get all that shit from my wonderful Reason4. Anyway, anyone got any ideas? Guest hellomynameis
why can't you have a footswitch triggering start and stop? Why does it have to be a drum pad? You can do this, but probably the best way is via midi. Guest obstreperousartist
well, I'd like for it to be a drum pad so that our drummer can easily trigger the sound samples live. do you know of a module that I can use that'll do all that? also, if it's not possible, tell about the footswitch option.
