C16 sliders acting up in Ableton

its a midi controller - seems to work fine in reason and cubase yet in ableton, when the sliders are completely static the assigned value continues moving erratically. ive also noticed it does this in the same direction as the movement preceding it and it is fine on the inital assignment - its only after moving it the first time it starts acting up.

just looked at it more and it seems to mimic the movement preceding it in timing too - but leaves gaps.

for example, if i move quickly from 1-20 in midi values, then it will continue this and flash the values 60, 80, 100, 120 and so on untill it reaches 127. but if i move slowly from 1-20 in midi values, then it flash the values 60, 65, 75, 80 and so on until it reaches 127 (of course they arnt rounded off like that when i do it, this is just an example).

any ideas?

oopsie, just worked it out - was being echoed through a midiyoke channel which was opened remote.

i googled it,wow it's pretty nice controller.

would like to get one,my uc-16 flashes too,but because i fucked it up.

yeah i would like to see more midi controllers that have an analog aesthetic.
