gunnar
i want to use my TR-707 midi out to trigger Cubase . i've tried about every setting with no results. i think i read somewhere that this was possible in earlier versions of cubase. i'm currently using Cubase SX3. any hope? pylonbitch
should be possible. i know it's possible two run two separate pc's, both running cubase with one master and one slave with a midi connection. you need to set your midi clock to external, and set cubase to accept start/stop midi commands. why not just slave the drumbox to cubase? should be fine with sx3 too. Guest Laughable Butane Bob
I've done it, and Cubase explicitly says it does not like it. It's in the sync setup section.
