Probably jazzbandz, but Aim uses the same vocal sample as in Xtal

I loved the Cold Water Music single which was quite popular on the radio here, now this track makes me wonder why I never listened to the album...

+1 on wanting to know the original source by the way.

Aim's dad runs a music shop in my hometown, I've seen him round the place now and again. Next time I do I'll be sure to run up to him and interrogate him.

It's just a sample of Xtal itself used in the Aim track. I wasn't completely sure upon first listen, as the vocal seems much clearer and less murky than the original. But Bleep previews are in mono, and if you turn the original Xtal to mono it also removes a lot of the reverb ambience. Listen to the Aim track in full stereo and you'll hear quite a bit more of Xtal's reverb in it. As well as that you can hear Xtal's repeating single note running through the Aim track while the sample is on. The bit of Xtal he sampled is between 1:41 and 1:49

I guess it's just Richard pitching himself up as always.

Probably, I wouldn't put it passed him
