Squee
My laptop is acting up... Ever time I play whatever I've created in Logic it plays for a couple of seconds I get this warning: "PC AV: System Overload. The audio engine was not able to process all required date in time (-10011)" I don't get it! A couple of days ago there was nothing wrong with my computer, then one night as I accidently opened a lot of applications at once and I were receiving a few tracks via Skype and ever since it has been acting like a little bitch. From the look of that warning it mayb be the soundcard that may be too slow, but the computer just seems a lot slower in general. Whenever I open a track where I've used Battery2 it takes about 15 secs to open it which isn't normal. I've got 512 ddr ram and I know that isn't all that much, and I could use some more, but it has got nothing to do with the ram. I've also used LavaSoft Adaware to get rid of all the crap that is on one's computer and I've used Stinger Antivirus etc and it has found nothing. I've even checked to see if the sound card acceleration was on full and it was. The curvy start is when I've got Logic running and then later I've shut it down. It seems as if it sometimes uses more ram than it should even though it's not being used or anything. I could format the fuck out of it, but I got my laptop last month so I think it's a bit too early to fuck it up already. Can anyone help? It's a bit of a pain in the ass not being able to do anything when P168 has just started... Guest Pistol Pete
How about harddrive space? Delete some of the porn if your hdd is getting full, that could help. Squee
I think I've made it work again? I deleted Battery2 because it kept loading the plugin even though I removed it from a lot of my tracks... this also means that I'll have to start all over with P168 tracks Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/3271-system-overload/#findComment-65512 Share on other sites
