i probably said this on myspazz but what did you see is absolutely fucking glorious

Of the two I definitely preferred 'Abalone Acid'. Beat was fly and the pads which came on top I dug and gave this a real epic flavour. I have to admit the mix didn't sit very well with me though. I think that distorted kick drum and acidline together create too much bass at the mid levels and so give the mix a mudiness and confusion. I'm on listen no2 of this now so this has certainly created a decent impression. Anyways pretty much liking the vibe of this one defo but the mix needs improvement.

"what did you see" is super rad excellent. i like it very much.

the other is pretty cool too. not so much my thing.

what did you see felt great nestling in my matter with its delicate, oblong finger tips. i would definitely like to see an EP of this to help ease my neurons before rest.

abalone acid didnt catch me at first but after a while it grew on me... it's great overall just not what my ears are used to intaking.

"what did you see" is part of an ambient lp that i hope to have out by winter.

yeah the pads and the melody on that monosynth sounds lush (at 0'54). the drums sound a bit too loud... and i guess you could make them sound a lot nicer; "warmer" without sounding too harsh/digital. that goes for the acid bassline too. but then again... it is your choice. nice tune!

i like "what did you see" a lot.

abalone acid: nice mix of boc + acid but i don't like either :P
