idea for idm/experimental w/ vocals

so i started the thread in gb, why people who listen to electronic music prefer it...

somebody mentioned that since it doesn't have singing once can come up with their own words to the music while listening to it

why doesn't somebody sample their voice with a phrase or something that goes with the beat that can be looped?

any1 ballsy enough to do it?

my microphone came in the post yesterday which i was going to use for a wonky electro project. give me a few months.

i thought somebody just said they can imagine other things like landscapes and shit, not their own lyrics. SHOW ME THE POST

and i think good/appropriate lyrics with good/appropriate music certainly allows the listener to imagine landscapes and shit, much like words in a book can ffs and human voice can just be a nice sounding instrument

and there's loads of electronic music with vocals ffs

cant remember where i heard it but i think his new stuff is largely vocal based. hope its in the same vein as 'open mic' on pro agonist - that song is gurt lush!
