Effects of having wires/back of gear

ive just noticed that theres no real way of avoiding this in the way stuff is set up atm, is there any negative effect? doesnt seem like there would be but yeah was wondering if anyone actually knew.

It depends... the performance of an electric current through a wire is determined by the number of mols of electrons present and the temperature of the metal itself. The higher the temperature, the more current needs to be pulled, which will heat up the wire some more, which means more current needs to get pulled, and so on and so on...

 

Don't let them touch the radiator itself, for sure. The worst thing that can happen is your wires melt themselves, but I imagine they'll reach an equilibrium of merely poor performance and a pinch of noise before that.
