Guest greenbank
new track on my myspace - orchestra hit. it's quite poppy again and fairly straightforward but a litle bit weird and i don't quite know if it works. it's mostly done apart from polish (barring yet another massive rewrite - i've already changed the tuning on the entire track and dumped a massive load of bits where it had breaks in and this is the 70th version...). this is the last poppy one for a bit i think, next up are a big stack of sub-bass & breaks in various styles kinda tunes which i'll probably chuck up here as i get them to demo-able standard. http://www.myspace.com/greenbank (the myspace compression does some pretty rough sounding things to the high hats but everything sounds reasonably clear) Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/33641-new-greenbank-tune-orchestra-hit/ Share on other sites
perunamuusi
it takes some pretty big balls to even go near an orchestra hit, in my book so laden, are they, with hair lacquer and shoulderpads but then, equally, with green type on a black screen fairplay nice work sir Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/33641-new-greenbank-tune-orchestra-hit/#findComment-717575 Share on other sites
Guest greenbank
haha, awesome review! there is a bit of a cheese factor with the hits, i'd actually started this track intending to make an evil rave stormer using other darker parts of 'the rite of spring' (which is where they're from, that and one or two fairlight ones) but instead this happened! a mate lol'd and called me madonna for the main orchestra hitty bits. Guest chunky
saw your post in the cassette deck thread a while ago, clicked your link and liked what i heard i like this stuff too, it's good i checked out the tracker you use, seems quite good software i use fruityloops whenever doing computer shit but gonna try and learn this software, it seems much better if there was a big zip download for all your tunes i would download and leave it in my music folder, chuck it on ps3 or hacked xbox once in a while and watch the colour show thingy and chill out with a brew and a curry i fucking hate electronic music this is not electronic music this is good music by a talented guy ignoring the fashions and making his own path Edited April 30, 2008 by chunky Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/33641-new-greenbank-tune-orchestra-hit/#findComment-718117 Share on other sites
