I dislike Hard Normal Daddy.

I really dig TJ's drum programming but sometimes his bass playing puts me off.

What albums should I go after ? Don't say "Feed me Weird Things " unless you want to hook me up with an mp3.

Go Plastic is exactly what your looking for and my least favourate TJ album, still brilliant but less organic. Just buy Feed me Weird Things.

Yeah I will buy "Feed Me..." for some reason I thought it wouldn't be that readily available( like a lot of early Rephlex), don't get me wrong I support the artists I enjoy by purchasing an original edition whenever I can. I'll also check Go Plastic.

Don't let Hard Normal Daddy turn you off by the first track, Chin Hippy, Rustic Raver, Fat Controller, Vic Acid!!!, Rebus, are great. the rest are kinda jazzy bass tunes - still i like most of the disc, cept for E8 Boogie.

Go Plastic is the album you want. It's his hardest album and has some of the best drum programming I've ever heard. Just check out the track Go! Spastic on it and you'll shit your fucking pants.

Go Plastic if you don't like his bass, but if you want a perfect fusion of breakbeats, dsp, and free form jazz, Ultravisitor is an amazing album.

edit: Actually I recommend listening to Go Plastic before Ultravisitor.

I always felt his evolution from Go Plastic to Ultravistor was his most natural progression in releases he's had so far.

I've had Hard Normal for years and I've played it many time, ...it doesn't do it for me

Go Plastic seems to be the consensus, so I'll check that out along with FMWT

Hard Normal Daddy is cool. An important but odd release in his catalog. Nothing else he has sounds like HND, so don't worry.

What's with the HND hate. It's like one of his top releases.
