yeah come to brighton and play the volks (just so i dont have to go to london to see you (although i will anyway (if i dont go to cornwall that is)) (which i probably will)) (or maybe instrumentality which has just moved to audio since the pub changed hands and became shit (no more saw 85-92 and FMWT on the beach) :(

Ignore Kaen, Leeds is awesome, and it puts on real good electronic stuff.

If you're still looking to book gigs get in contact with Room 237, they put on loads of stuff and have connection with Warp/Rephlex etc etc etc.

Seriously though - you should come out to Portland, OR sometime.

First up, Wisp who comes all the way from Canada will be regaling us with the sorts of melodic-cum-acid-cum-jungle that has seen his meteoric rise in the past couple of years from being a very accomplished bedroom producer to now-defunct Winnipeg label Sublight and finally to Aphex Twin's record label, Rephlex. Planet Mu veteran The Gasman is coming back for seconds, having destroyed Stealth a couple of years ago in support of Jimmy Edgar with a Jive Bunny-esque old-skool workout! His patented blend of hyper-edited cut-up rave music is totally unique and his total mastery of building tracks that shouldn't work on paper but turn out trumps out loud has confounded the small-minded mass media and elated the true aficionados for many a moon. Expect something special!

Our two visiting luminaries are joined by Centrifuge favourite NeuTek, fresh from his street rave though Shoreditch and ready to unleash some serious 8-bit electronic music, glitch, dub, darkwave and all sort of tech shenanigans right in front of you. This may be one of your last chances to catch this fella on the quiet as we are sure the big time beckons for him soon! Special highlights of NeuTek's performances include an array of circuit-bent electronic equipment including a MIDI-controlled Speak-and-Math. Once he's finished with it he does things with arithmetic that no maths teacher can!

Thanks for the offer mate, I appreciate it. The problem is though that I'll be working on a placement in Norfolk and throwing a few days sickie is unfortunately an option (if I still lived in Nottingham that wouldn't be the case).
