i said in a response comment to praise of the film 'its one of by favourite 'BOC' tracks

We should all ignore the attention seekers who frequent these boards. Especially the occasional hoaxer who drifts by droping one liners claiming they have insider information. What will the next hoaxer tell us all? They'll probably claim the next LP will be more mainstream sounding which wouldn't bother me because I Do' realize every artist needs to mature. I've got to admit I was a little upset when TCH was released because I wanted another Geogaddi but an artist with as much talent as the almighty BOC doesn't want the label one trick pony.

i am relatively new to these forums but one thing i've noticed especially

was everyone's hostility to eachother

i thought i'd see how little would spark of some dickhead on a rant about them being

does it really matter? the one thing that brings people to this forum

is music and in particular the music of boards

so why does basically everyone hate eachother? i mean there the 'veterans' of these forum who are able to joke and actually have a laugh just look at joyrex's april fools gag

that sparked loads of people to get annoyed. why?

thats why its a shame that boards of canada has these sorts of fans

just enjoy their music! this isn't some twisted competition!

You know what? I have completely stopped caring about any hidden meaning in BoC tracks. I couldn't care less about track names, lyrics, backmasking, or any of that shit. It means nothing to me anymore. When was the last time anyone here noticed something in a BoC track that they had not noticed/read about before?

I'm not even gonna continue pushing for any of the BoC sets/new albums/collaborations/Hexagon Sun Birthday Wish Clubs.

You are correct amigos. People shouldn't obsess over hidden meanings because in the end what you think you've discovered will never be validated unless Mike and Marcus tell us all. I am addicted to the music because of the intoxicating feeling I get from it. It is like a sea of emotion...a balance between light and dark.

i don't give a toss about boc, everyone who claims to have any detailed knowledge of them or their music is, from my experience, almost by definition a pretentious arsehole with no life.
