paranoid-666
Just stumbled across this. Its loads of early stuff by FSOL and there other aliases. Has some really good rare early stuff from 1991-92. http://www.discogs.com/release/1340421 Some samples here http://www.play.com/Music/MP3-Download-Alb...on/Product.html Defo gonna buy when I get paid later this week.Had a listen to the samples and there was a few tunes that I recognised from years ago but I had no idea that they were done by FSOL. hayhook
just got these. a couple tracks that were on Accelerator and the Earthbeat comp, but great to have in "unmixed" or higher res versions. Love the old stuff from them. They definitely made some of my favourite "techno" back in the day, and alot of it still holds up really well to anything out now... Never managed to get that Earthbeat CD, did the slsk alright on it but must try get the CD, excellent selection too. I haven't bought any of the other more recent FSOL releases, the 'From The Archives' series, anyone got these/opinions? hayhook
the archives cds are all lifeforms/isdn/dead cities flavored tracks. really good stuff, the only thing lacking being "continuity" as albums (which is what makes lifeforms/isdn/dead cities so great) or "context" of the tracks with regards to when they were produced... none of the hippy dippy mello hippo sucko crap of any of the releases since dead cities. reccomended Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide hayhook's signature Hide all signatures https://www.mixcloud.com/hayhook/ Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/34493-fsol-pulses-eps/#findComment-753710 Share on other sites

Guest Globe
Love Semi Real too, 'People Livin' Today' is a great track... first heard that on the JDJ Billy Nasty mix back in '93 or so, still love this mix, nice and authentic and even includes some bad mixes at times. http://www.discogs.com/release/96730 Edited June 17, 2008 by Globe Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/34493-fsol-pulses-eps/#findComment-754173 Share on other sites
