  • 4 weeks later...

just got these.

a couple tracks that were on Accelerator and the Earthbeat comp, but great to have

in "unmixed" or higher res versions.

Love the old stuff from them. They definitely made some of my favourite "techno" back

in the day, and alot of it still holds up really well to anything out now...

the archives cds are all lifeforms/isdn/dead cities flavored tracks.

really good stuff, the only thing lacking being "continuity" as albums (which is what makes lifeforms/isdn/dead cities so great)

or "context" of the tracks with regards to when they were produced...

none of the hippy dippy mello hippo sucko crap of any of the releases since dead cities.

reccomended

Love Semi Real too, 'People Livin' Today' is a great track... first heard that on the JDJ Billy Nasty mix back in '93 or so, still love this mix, nice and authentic and even includes some bad mixes at times.
