drum and bass track

yeah, loads of different styles these days, and, hey this one surely isn't true to the d&b template... but still, do you like it?

its definitely not complete... so it will certainly be longer... and with the extra room, maybe i'll make it drum and bassier.

your track is really strong, i espcially like synth bass parts. if you wanted to make it more complete or longer, i could see something completely different sounding being thrown in for a few bars, then returning to what your working with now. but maybe thats a hip-hop gimmick...

kind of tobinish, some super nice sounds in this, love the drums about 2/3 of the way in

Interesting.

I have to be fair and say this didn't particular grab me when I first heard it the other day. My main gripe is that its heavily soaked in reverb. Bass certainly needs less reverb as do bits of the snares. Mix as I result I personally found quite muddy. Beats could roll a bit more if you get me too. I think a cleaner mix would definitely help me get into it more. Some interesting bass swirl type of sounds and stuff but overall it just wasn't hitting me. I feel it needs a strong hook and more interesting notation.

Promo, i totally agree about the reverb and the mixing. gotta clean all that stuff up. if i ever get this thing to a more final place, i will focus very hard on nailing all that stuff down. i just like to get the general idea of a song down, put it up and see what people think...

got another track i'm working on now, that i'm really looking forward to getting feedback on... will post soon.
