Guest hellomynameis
there is this odd air wooshing ambient noise, I dont think it really fits in with the track because its like there are two seperate levels you know as in you have like this vast desert with ambience and then suddenly percussion etc. i would suggest also adding more variation and decide what direction you want to go i.e. electronic music or Ambient or whatever sub genre or I suppose you could combine all in one somehow, who knows. Oh and not bad for first guess, but I wouldnt put it in '5 out of 5 IDMS' more like 3 out of 5 imabeginnermakinganewtrack format lol Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/34703-first-crack-at-writing-electronic-music/#findComment-742677 Share on other sites

qnio
good! nice melodies; synth patches. bit monotonous though... goffer
i like it... agree with bene in that the snare and bd need a larger footprint over the eerie sound scape. you just need to remix it a bit the levels seem a bit strange at parts, like that second synth. Guest yanG
starts absolute great, don't like the melody much, i find it loud in the mix for what it is. when the beat comes back in @ 3:45 there should be something new imo. maybe a louder kick without distortion, faster beat, i have the impression i'm listening to the beginning again (mind you i'm not into repetitive music). hope the criticism is constructive and meaningful.
