enki Posted June 6, 2008 Report Share Posted June 6, 2008 Those Goldbaby samples are okay, but the lack of extensive multisampling kind of defeats the purpose of recording the machines to tape. What's the point if you don't get the varied degrees of tape saturation from different input levels? What nuance are they trying to capture? Seems like a lot of hocus pocus to me. Still, can't complain about the free samples. That cassette 808 is pretty fun.
