like the vibe of bella quite a bit... got a nice early feel to it. wish the track had a bit more depth (bass), but its a great track.

woosh has some cool beats and the melody is great. sounds like it could be an epic hip hop track with the right vocals. didn't so much like the guitar interlude, very brief, without the beat behind it... i think that transition could be a little better. track has the right level of tension in it and builds and releases and keeps the tension well. great track.

little 8-bit arcade stylings usually scare me away, but almost halfway this is this low bass rumble that sits well with it. i wish you'd bring that part out more... you bring it back in the end again... i like that best of this track.

always a pleasure to hear your beats, man... nice work again.

Guest tyranthraxus

these tracks are really strong. the first 2 kind of remind me of some stuff off 'the audiences' listening" by cut chemist, but are harder, and more satisfying in the beat department. all three are way better than everything on dj shadow's last album.

also, i liked the guitar part.

I recognize the drums in woosh... it's from a Fourtet song (or did Fourtet sample the same source material as you?) It's awesome tho... seriously really funky and cool.

Bella feels a little unfinished... or at least that it needs to be mixed in with a few other tracks. I really wanna hear it crossfade into another song. Other than that it's pretty sweet.

Liftyouup is awesome too! Lovely 8 bitty tunes. I like the slight awkwardness too.

You need to make like, at least 35 minutes worth of this stuff, mix them altogether into one continuous piece, and call it an album... this kind of music is just begging to be thrown into a mix!

i use several different breaks in woosh, one from Jack Arel and one from Accept, and the jazzy drums i recorded a friend playing.

oddly enough, i have a recording of 30 minutes of a set i played last weekend.

Had a listen to your set, it's pretty sweet! I knew these songs would work well mixed together :)

The Four Tet song I was thinking of is called Unspoken, you can listen to a clip here: http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&a...10:hzftxqraldke

I'm just curious to know where that break comes from cos it's got quite a distinctive sound to it
