My friend built a robot band

^That's a self-playing robot band.

They're made of meccano and controlled by a home-made MIDI type language from a DOS PC.

We miked up their servos and actuators for the recording and mixed it in with the sound from their amps.

It sounds like 80s Flying Nun music combined with some kind of Terminator/Robocop drug nightmare.

The snare drum is a pie plate.
