i own one. did a bunch of mods. osc is meh, but i use the filter HEAVILY, also a preamp i built to feed audio into the filter.

not polyphonic. the midi to cv is kind of crap but fine for gate/trigger. BPF, ASR/LFO, VCF input mods essential.

i've been watching/hearing examples on the interwebs. everyone seems to be using it for weird sounds, etc. how is it for some nice basslines? i mean not something that sounds like a farting drummachine

anyways, um, oscillators are glorified 555s, not the greatest. there are mods you can do, you can add your own extras etc
