be mean

bass isn't thick enough for me, fatten that up and i don't have many other things i can be mean about... i like this a lot... reminds me of the kind of hip hop i used to like back in the day when the stuff that was getting put out was actually worth listening to.

oh, and finish it :)

i think the cymbal takes up too much space in the mix

by cymbol do you mean the break that i hi pass eq-ed that comes in towards the beginning or do you mean the cymbol that is part of the main break throughout?

im working on this again today and my main goal is to fatten the bass and develop it further, ill upload it with the same name when i finish

ok, so i made alot of changes to the drums/cymbols and bass and made it longer

i liked it and i didnt... seemed a bit too all over the place and the saw bass didnt seem to fit well. i did like the presence of more lower end and what you did to the drums though.

i like it, did you play any instruments in it? or is it all electronic? reminds me alot of the flashbulb

i listened to the room203 version though, that definitely has fattened the bass... kind of west coast style. i think its good, but i might layer a sub frequency under it and eq the hell of of both bass tracks. so the combined sound is filling out the bottom end and letting the kick bump through (at 60hz).

this is definitely an improvement on what was already a great track.

good track but the whole mix is a little bit too noisy imo
