Dayvan Cowboy used to brainwash TV viewers

i was watching CSI Miami - very lovely bright colored show - and they used Dayvan Cowboy for one of those lab sequences. it was well worked in, and actually sent a shiver down my spine.

then a bit later, during commercials, there was a commercial for a GMC Jimmy. music was using Dayvan Cowboy. a different part of it, however, so it was quite subtle - you would have to know the track well.

anyways, GMC cars are all over CSI... and when the track came on during the GMC commercial, i felt that spine-shiver coming back...

I wouldn't worry much about it. Someone involved in music direction at CSI has decent taste in music and the Sandison's paid off their electricity bill for the year. no cause for alarm

seriously; CSI has been on in the background in my apartment three times total, and in that three hours i heard tracks by ulrich schnauss, interpol, and BoC

that's pretty neat, I've been hearing BoC in a lot of places, like this one video on amish kids getting high

But I've always thought about Boc being on that show, kinda fits.

Well, given the way the price of energy is going up the cost would be quite high I'd say.

No, you're entirely right.  Especially if you the fact that one of the attracting factors of BoC are the anomalies, the things that don't belong, the things that float to the surface from left field when you least expect it.  Now add the music to a show whose center point revolves around finding the tiniest shred of a detail in order to make sense of the world, and they are both right at home.

However, due to the tinting in the show, I think they should have used Alpha and Omega.
