That's, um.. what's the term.. completely retarded? I don't see how that's any better than having a separate control surface, and I can think of plenty of ways that it's a lot worse.

Because dedicated multi-control surfaces are not cheap, everyone has a monitor, and you can just pop these on when you need them then take them off when you're done?

I mean, sure, given tons of money we'd all just buy a couple of Lemur's and call it a day but provided this ends up as reasonably priced as it should be then it's fairly interesting.

If you think this gimmicky bullshit is somehow going to be cheaper than something like the Encore Knobby (which is an affordable $99 for eight high-resolution "three-dee!!" controls), then, uhh.. I reckon you're probably wrong. And if you think this foolishness is cool, wait until you see my Busy Beads prototype.

I for one sincerely apologize for my incorrect *boner* statement and retract all previous thoughts of how this might be a cool and useful product. I humbly ask for forgiveness, sir.

the proper way to use this would be to get another LCD and essentially have a cheap lemur with knobs you can actually feel.

you could arrange them any way you want... i mean, i have a novation knobdaddy and it's totally deluxe, love it, but it would be GREAT if i could rearrange the controls physically too!

bottom line: it really depend on how this feels, whether the knobs felt proper. if it's got a good vibe, it would totally cover areas my current controllers don't.

oh snap, is that a busy beads multi-touch 3D audio-interactive enviroment? shame theres only sine and square occilator beads so far... but i really like the assignable envelope paths.

holding my breath for the polygynth mk12 tbh:

intuitive kinetic polygon-slot triggers with individual torque-potentiometers - im really digging the vintage mahogany finish too.
