Wooooaaaaaaarrrr

Ok guys,

This should be a simple problem to solve, then i'll be out of your hair for a while.

Basically, no matter which lowpass filter I use, I cannot achieve that really cool wooooooar sound heard in alot of tracks.

Now I know that just saying "that wooar sound" doesnt help... lol.. so here's an example:

General midi - Shadow

Sorry, I couldn't find a sample that contains the sound in question, but I imagine that there are some breaks fans here and some of you might have this track.

So anyways... am I missing something, or is it just that I should be using vocal formant filters?

(that is what they are called on my 'Ion', not sure what they would be called in VST form.)

I'm really sorry 'analogue wings', I wanted to give more details... i normally do, but in this particular case, there is no you tube video and I cant find a long enough sample anywhere. :undecided:
