Oh man I loved this, it was like a mixture of golden age aphex/autechre/µ-ziq, all the great things about drill+bass put into one little track. This was perfect.

Cheers guys! I just realised ableton renders everything a lot quieter with normalize on so apologies for the low volume. I really cant be arsed to upload again.

ALSO i just realised i'd eq'd the bass WAY up on the mixer..but i didnt record from the mixer, i rendered from the hard drive, so the subs & mids are much less than i intended. Schoolboy errors. I'm playing this out on friday, woohoo.

Still haven't sorted out the bass, i just boosted it on the mixer again when playing out.

the drums and that Venus No.17 siren sound also really remind me of Squarepusher

it does sound kinda skinny on the low end, but that almost adds to the charm. gotta love the heyday donkey rhubarb type melody reminds me of the summer :) wooooo woooooo
