Guest Helper ET
so. we need a music player that is popular like foobar or winamp or i tunes (heh) that can change the tempo of a song and have total control over the song's tempo. this wouldn't have to be to complicated, ableton live can do it. we just need a little function slider switch that allows the user to control the tempo of any song imported (just as easily as the ableton live program does it), and any person, music lover or otherwise can change the tempo of a song with a simple function, like Live, but in an easy program like foobar that has a slider or knob or whatever. imagine any user........mother, daughter, bastard son, anyone, can simply change the tempo of any MP3 or WAV or whatever by moving a simply slider, just like a producer might do, except, even the normal user can now change the tempo of a song. this is the future of music listening. © btw...just letting you know... Guest 4fxtwin
Dunno about computer-based players but Rockbox lets you do that on your iPod. Which is nice  Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/36230-a-revolutionary-idea/#findComment-780409 Share on other sites

It would be awesome to be able to play flacs though. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/36230-a-revolutionary-idea/#findComment-781292 Share on other sites
Guest Adjective
i haven't used winamp in a while but there was like open ended kind of plugin that came with it. you could use it to script simple effects or something. anyway, there were a lot of presets with it and one was called "justin's simple pitch / speed control" or something like that. i used to use that all the time. i've never tried it for foobar, but i'm sure someone's made a component for that. there are VST wrappers for it too Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/36230-a-revolutionary-idea/#findComment-781392 Share on other sites
