in an abstract, general sense, it strikes me as impossible to PROVE that there's only one... no one's omnipresent, and how do you know there aren't little elves constantly moving the second Fenix on earth out of your sight just in time, every time?

however, it's possible to DISPROVE it, just put two Synton Fenixes side-by-side:

the time tunnel module (also mentioned by the purveyor of cartesian policy), on the other hand, might be a better candidate... but then you knew that, didn't you.
