Guest arbee
hello peeps, recently, I want to finally get a turntable. i would like a good (but nothing audiophile-freak rega thing) and relatively cheap turntable. it would mainly be a listening turntable, but i would like to strach/mess around with it just to waste some time. i really don't care about that usb-thing, i just want a straight-up simple thing. i don't have a big budget, maybe something like 200-300 us. i was looking at those cheap numark ones but they are kinda ugly. thnx for the help. Guest Drahken
Hit up pawn shops and pick up an old technics and just get a new cartridge. Solid table and getting parts are easy, plus you can get older technics (non-dj style) for like $10! mcbpete
It took fookin' ages for the motor and stylus/cartridge to 'break itself in' (the sound quality were shit to start with) but the project debut III is top of the pops. I finally really love mine now (it only took like 6 months !!)
