drunk thread

not a thread that imbibes, rather a thread in which the posters imbibe (similar to how a "drinking song" actually does no drinking).

people make them all the time, but i can't seem to find a PERMANENT one... this is largely because of how things go when you're sauced. however, there's also no proper place. THERE IS NOW A PLACE!!! this thread.

furthermore, i know some people like to read my verbal diarrhea, and others hate it, so i'd rather have it in one spot as opposed to all over the walls. everyone's happier.

post in this thread when you're drunk, instead of just making the 452nd drunk thread

will this idea fly? I DON'T FUCKING KNOW!! but i'll find out, i'm sure.

p.s. i'm not drunk yet, but i'm working on getting there. figured i'd write this up while i could still string a sentence together.

Not drinking this week. Until like Thursday at least!

Having said that I am drinking a can of cider. But that's like... a nightcap.

had a martini at dinnertime, but that's long since worn off.

I love vodka and cranberry, classic. But you might as well add some more shit and make it a Cosmo... if you're secure in your masculinity that is!

Just finished my last Heineken before bed, nowhere near as drunk as I set out to be. Got 20 cans of Becks Vier in the garage (it was cheap in ASDA) but that's for a mate's barbie tomorrow.

Sort of the idea behind me buying it (plus it was six quid for ten cans). I'm going to be with people from Uni who I'll be spending the next two years with. They're mostly not big drinkers, so for once I don't want to make too big a cunt of myself. Still probably will though.

i'm not big on heineken but i'm tempted by that mini-keg every time i go grocery shopping. good idea or no?

I'm guessing tits, with a fair degree of confidence. And go with the mini-keg, just remember to tilt the glass properly thereby avoiding an embarrassingly large head of froth.

The keg's probably good value for money, I see em in the shops too, I just can't see myself drinking that much beer in one sitting though, I usually have one or two then graduate on to the vodkas if I have any at all. How big are they exactly anyway?

if i could keep it in the fridge, that'd be tops.

Don't know the capacity off pat, but we had one between three of us a few months ago and managed several oversized IKEA beer glasses each. Bigger than they look, I'd say. I think we stuck it in my mate's freezer drawer for an hour or two first.

Yeah, about 7/8 pints in those off-license kegs.

I'd rather just buy 8 cans... or drink in a pub, although it's becoming the only place I go.

Can't really moan at that.

i wish they'd license this keg tech so i could get other fine boozes on mini-tap!!
