im very sneaky when it comes to taxes. the trick is, to never do your taxes. i havent done my taxes once in my life, and ive been legally obligated to for years. i hope they at least send me a letter before they knock on my door to steal all my shit, i wonder how long you can go...

When you lodge your first return they'll ask about the previous years but if you never lodge they may never ask.

They're probably being lenient because they think you've got Down Syndrome.

You should probably find out because excuses like "I forgot," don't really cut the mustard.

i fucked up my taxes 2 years ago and expected a fine but it still hasn't come through...they either forgot or the fine is just here to scare people or they let me off.

You can't outrun your taxes. Think of the government the same way you'd think of a mafia bookie you owe, they'll get their money no matter what. At some point they WILL want to collect on the previous years' taxes you haven't paid. Plus, they might want interest on top of that. I'd HIGHLY recommend finding an accountant to help you through this asap. There's all kinds of shenanigans they can do on your behalf.

you can easily dodge car taxes. get in-date tax discs from scrap yards. works a treat

i have had rather decent tax returns over the past three years.. $1101 this year, and ~$500 last year and the year before. but it's rather simple for me, i don't have anything to claim really. i just happen to have worked 3 different jobs in the past year, so i guess that's why my return was high?

as a contractor with 1040 shit going down i have to file quarterly - based on ESTIMATES of my irregular income

someone wave a wand and make it go away. even if i still had to pay the $$, i'd love to get rid of the hassle.
