Helios - Caesura

With 'The Malady of Elegance' that came out this summer, we can say that Keith Kenniff is active as ever. The samples for 'Caesura' sound promising, imo.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, the second track sounds like a slightly reworked version of Caecus, a track on 'Transmitted Vibrations Of Any Frequency'.

It's actually called "shoulder to hand" but i'd much more like a reworked version of Caecus though .

So this is fantastic

im a bit iffy about this one. There's some good quality production on here no doubt, but im having trouble musically distinguishing one track from another, theyve all got a very similar mood and instrumentation thats not very different from his other releases. If you ask me this one doesnt come near the variety, quality and clarity of ideas put forth on Eingya.

Overall, a good but unsatisfying album.

yeah, you know, my first instinct was 'wow, this is great!', but after 20-25 listens, most of the tracks sound a bit same-ish, it's not quite as impressive ... i'm definitely feeling tracks 1, 8-10 though. also allow me to recommend the live cdr he's selling on his myspace right now.

wow. i have experienced the opposite of what you experienced. In a first moment i thinked that apart of the good production, the tracks sounded very similar and lack of "spark", but after some weeks of listening, i think that is a very great album, so coherent, all the tracks have the same "mood", it have a bunch of very great moments too. I like a lot the tracks 2, 3, 7, 8, and 9.
