So here's my first submission on this website. It's a dance... sort of... thing. The sounds are pretty abrasive, I guess it's kind of reflecting the little bits of Ken Ishii stuff I've been hearing lately. I'm pretty sure I want to put some more mixing, editing, and general fine-tuned production into this, but I thought I would put this draft up on here just to get an outside opinion. I like it. I don't know if anyone else will, though.

The first part is kind of integral to the structure of the song, but I'll definitely need to spruce that part up a bit. My ideas got better and better as I went along, so the beginning really pales before the ending.

the reverb you're using sounds cheap and awful, along with some of the sounds you're using.

A little more detail would be helpful, but I'll address that as best I can. The drums definitely need to be replaced. They're placeholders that I've been procrastinating about fixing. I guess the reverb could use some clearing up. I wouldn't call the unit cheap or awful, if you do mean the unit. The reverb that comes with Ableton Live is very flexible, but that makes it difficult to get the clean, open sound that people usually look for from reverb out of it. I could try a different unit, but the reverb really doesn't seem so bad to me. The odd-harmonic bass at the beginning of the song needs a lot of work, too, but I wouldn't replace that because it's one of the things that allows the two parts of the song to come together in the end, even though they're in two different keys.

Thanks for the comments, they're a big help. I have a tendency to abandon projects if I don't do this kind of thing.
